We’re a travel, tourism and marketing agency specialising in domestic travel and UK holiday companies. That means our team are UK travel know-it-all’s, frequently setting off on staycation breaks near and far. We wanted to catch up with some of the team to find out where they love to roam at home and what UK destinations are on their bucket-list for a weekend away.

Our Head of PR, Mark, gives us the lowdown on his favourite staycation destination which gives him fond memories of life without the kids…

Where is your favourite place to holiday in the UK?
The Northumberland coast.

Have you been there before or is it a place that’s on your bucket list?
I went there with my wife pre-kids.

Why is it your favourite UK destination?
It just feels different to anywhere else in the UK!

What are some of your favourite things to do and what would you recommend for others visiting?
The windswept walk along the beach at Bamburgh was one of the most memorable strolls I have ever been on. The majestic view of the castle and the force of the elements around you come together to make you feel more connected with Mother Nature than anywhere else I can think of. I’ve never felt closer to home, yet further from it all at the same time – it’s a special place.
