Something to say for Thissaway at British Tourism & Travel Show

The chance to get out and about and share insight with travel industry colleagues is always welcome – especially when you have something to say.

That’s why I was delighted to represent Thissaway as part of a keynote panel discussion at the British Tourism & Travel Show at Birmingham’s NEC a few weeks ago.

The organisers invited us to take part in the Tourism Question Time session after reading our Future-proofing the UK Staycation Market report – a piece of research highlighting the opportunities for travel, hospitality and leisure brands to better connect with millennials.

Expertly chaired by Sean Taggart, Non-Executive Director at The Albatross Group, fellow panellists Helen Bowron (CTA), Angela Heaton (AC Tours) and I discussed a range of topics including the state of the UK travel market, opportunities for growth and yes, the likely impact of Brexit on both domestic and inbound tourism – all in the space of 45 minutes!

Unfortunately we ran out of time to take questions from the audience, but do get in touch if you’d like to know more about the session, the report or how we might be able to help your business cut through when it comes to connecting with your next generation of customers.
