    Dialling into the demographics of Malmaison’s true customer base, Thissaway has quickly built a network of strong Gen Z and Millennial influencers and digital creative contacts to ensure consistent online touchpoints for the brand across the travel, lifestyle, and food sectors.

What we have achieved

  • We generated more than 150 pieces of national, regional and influencer coverage for the brand between June and September 2022.


  • Creating social buzz - Malmaison Edinburgh City - menu launch influencer activation.
    • The team pulled together a successful menu launch event with key local and regional influencers from the Edinburgh and Glasgow areas within three weeks of taking on the account. An intimate affair to showcase the launch of the new Malmaison summer menu at Chez Mal Brasserie, we worked with the hotel team to determine influencer targets, build relationships, manage invites, initiate incentives, and host a competition – all of which came together in a successful influencer event at Malmaison Edinburgh City in June 2022 that was effective in generating a real online buzz for the property and its restaurant.
